Studio Etiquette
If it’s your first time at our studio please arrive 15 minutes early. No whining and no complaining.Please follow the instructions given by your teacher. Learn to listen. This is the fundamental principle of the studio.- Come early. No late admittance.
- Bring a yoga mat, big towel and water bottle. No Glass Allowed.
- Only water allowed during class. No sports drinks or coconut waters.
- No watches, cell phones, wallets or keys in the yoga room.
- No shoes or socks in the yoga room.
- Do not wear perfume, oils or any type of cologne.
- Must be minimum 18 years old.
- Practice silence. Please do not talk in the yoga room before, during and after class.
- Set up in the back two rows if this is your first visit to the studio (even if you have practiced in other studios).
- Stay in the room. Do not leave during class unless it is an emergency. Get permission from the teacher first.
If you set up in the front row, please be a good example to the people that are behind you.
BE MINDFUL: If you are setting up in the front row, look back, make sure that you are not right in front of someone, obstructing their view.
BE COMMITTED: If you are going to need to sit down, don’t set up in the front.
BE AWARE: If you can’t be still, don’t set up in the front.
BE PRESENT: Do not start or change before the teacher instructs you to do so.
BE CONSISTENT: Do not change or modify any pose. No advanced poses in class.
This is a yoga college. Please respect the rules and teachings. Come with an open heart and an open mind.
