Studio Etiquette

Please follow the instructions given by your teacher. Learn to listen. This is the fundamental principle of the studio.

  • Come early. No late admittance.
  • Bring a yoga mat, big towel and water bottle. No Glass Allowed.
  • Only water allowed during class. No sports drinks or coconut waters.
  • No watches, cell phones, wallets or keys in the yoga room.
  • No shoes or socks in the yoga room.
  • Do not wear perfume, oils or any type of cologne.
  • Must be minimum 18 years old.
  • Practice silence. Please do not talk in the yoga room before, during and after class.
  • Set up in the back two rows if this is your first visit to the studio (even if you have practiced in other studios).
  • Stay in the room. Do not leave during class unless it is an emergency. Get permission from the teacher first.

If you set up in the front row, please be a good example to the people that are behind you.
BE MINDFUL: If you are setting up in the front row, look back, make sure that you are not right in front of someone, obstructing their view.
BE COMMITTED: If you are going to need to sit down, don’t set up in the front.
BE AWARE: If you can’t be still, don’t set up in the front.
BE PRESENT: Do not start or change before the teacher instructs you to do so.
BE CONSISTENT: Do not change or modify any pose. No advanced poses in class.

This is a yoga college. Please respect the rules and teachings. Come with an open heart and an open mind.
